I bought this for £16.99 as a present for my cat. It was nicely presented and looked like good quality. I opened it out and it's the size stated, but I felt it was a little small potentially. Having seen a few of these double sided flurry/ sherpa blankets, I felt I could get it cheaper and thought I had over paid a bit. I ordered two cheaper, slightly larger blankets of the same style from amazon. It's difficult to judge just on the price, so I wanted to compare quality and see if I had been ripped off. I am happy to say this blanket won over the others. It was plusher, thicker and softer. The weight of the blanket was better and thicker when feeling the material between your fingers. It was harder to feel the backing material on it compared to the others, so it was more substantial. The cat loves it as can be expected. No funny smells or anything when opening it, although I still washed it first anyway as I always do. Was nicely presented too. It's a blanket, not a bed, so best to put in a basket or on the sofa. If you have a small pet up to 8kg, this is perfect. They can snuggle into it. I pick the cat up in it like a baby and cuddle her, she falls asleep purring, she loves it. So warm and cosy, especially for winter. In the summer, I can put it out flat on the rug so its like a play mat she can roll on. I would buy one in a larger size for myself I'm actually a bit jealous.

great blanket for my kitty to chill on, it also goes wherever he goes to a new cat sitter and it's his comfort place! super soft, handles washing very well. my only complaint is that no matter how much you wash you can't really get the hair and stuff out, there's always stuff left stuck in it. but outside of that, good purchase :)

Ordered two dog blankets in both colours. Arrived promptly. Look great but thought they would be a little bulkier than they are. However, lovely and soft and my fussy dog who usually ‘rags’ anything new about for a bit just curled up on her bed with it!

This is the perfect sized pet bed blanket for your small-to-medium dog. The quality is good and the "snugginess" is pretty much all there. All I would say is that you could get a 'single bed' sized similar quality (or arguably better) blanket for less than the price of this. And to be fair to my dog, she doesn't much care what size it is... but getting a dog blanket which will fit in the washing machine more conveniently and dry much quicker, does have its advantages. That's ultimately what you end up paying for.

We have two small dogs (Parson Russell terrier & Jack Russell) that go everywhere with us. If we stop for coffee or lunch outside in the summer or are camping/hiking my reasoning was the dogs would rest & chill out best if they had a recognisable (to them) lightweight portable bed/mat I could spread out for them to settle on. I ordered two of these, one for each dog. Regarding the size, when spread out, it became clear one blanket, size-wise, would do my two dogs happily with plenty of room for both, additionally the footprint of two of these laid out would take up a too large an area. I was very disappointed when I opened the first one, it was so thin, giving little if any degree of softness/padding or indeed warmth between the ground & the dogs. The sherpa fleece is of cheap poor quality, I should have worked this out by the price. I do not know what UK trading standards would make of the label on the blanket, it describes the sherpa fleece side of the mat as lamb cashmere, and the fine-feel fleece side as flannel, the term flannel refers to a woven fabric usually wool or cotton, certainly not fleece. I was about to package the two blankets up to send back when I had the bright idea of stitching them together to make one well-padded mat. This has ended up a little bulky for storing in my rucksack, but I’ll rig up something to stash it externally like a sleeping mat roll. I would not consider this mat for use in our house, it looks cheap & tacky to me, but to keep in the car or carry with us it will be fine.

This is a lovely blanket which is soft, easy to wash and dries up lovely, we have it foe a puppy who snuggles up in it. The size is goid for a pup too, not too big or small. Well worth the money.
