I bought this blanket to place on top of an ottoman, which one of my three cats has his bed on. Firstly, I wanted to protect the velvet padding on the ottoman from being scratched at, and as my cat gets his food set on a tray beside him, the water bowl is often tipped over when he jumps up and I didn't want water seeping through to the padding. When I came across this blanket and read the description I decided it was just what I needed. It's just the right length for my ottoman, on the top it's got a lovely soft velvet like feel to it with paw prints embossed in it. The under side is a lush Sherpa which my cat likes to kneed. As for being waterproof, it most definitely is. Several times the water bowl had been knocked onto to it and each time I've been able to soak it up with a cloth without any water seeping through it. At one stage I bought a big fluffy bed for the top of the ottoman but one of the other younger cats jumped up, and spent some time playing in it. When I shooed him out to his own bed I realised I could smell cats urine, so I lifted up the bed to find it had been peed in. I put the bed into the washing machine and went back to check the blanket. The top of the blanket was wet, but not a drop got through to the ottoman. I've had it nearly a year now and I've washed it once a week, and it still looks good as new. It's a lovely looking blanket and could be put anywhere in your home and considering how good it is at protecting furniture, it's well worth the money. This blanket has been a successful purchase, and I'd thoroughly recommend it, especially to people with slobbery dogs.

I bought this for my very elderly dog Oscar who has a nasty Pyoderma of his lips and is on lots of meds and cleaning products as the secretions are highly offensive sticky and really unpleasant.I need a comfy water proof blanket over the other two covers I have on my bed to ensure the secretions don't get on my own bedding . This is great it is thick soft comfy warm and protective for my bedding and makes Oscar comfortable and cosy overnight as I don't want to exclude him from the bed making him feel rejected and sad. The size is excellent too covers the whole of my double bed protecting it fully . It says machine washable which I need as it will need daily washing and it can dry over the banisters if needed I will purchase a second one . Such a relief to get a waterproof cosy blanket for poor Oscar a good price too.

My dog Bruno is happy with his fluffy blanket. We have tried many dog beds and he rips them up, this one he seems content and comfortable with. Looks nice and snuggly when it’s a little colder and he is always happy to go into his bed now. Washes well and is a thick double sided blanket.

These are nice and thick. Very comfortable to sit on. I can confirm that they are waterproof. My dog unfortunately is on water tablets because of her heart and there have been several “accidents “. The sofa has been completely protected. The largest size only just fits in my washing machine and doesn’t spin dry properly because of that. Even so, they dry very well in the tumble drier. The label says tumble dry low, but I have done them on the hot setting without any issues. They come out lovely and fluffy. They are meant as a dog blanket/furnitur protector, but I have used the smaller size on my legs on a frosty evening and can vouch that they are very warm and comfortable. Great value for money. I have bought a couple of extra ones to use as blankets for me.

The blanket is a nice colour and is soft and quite thick. It washed well and dried fairly quickly. I have this folded on my desk for kitty to lie on which he does sometimes. He likes to dig at it and make it a comfy nest. The quality seems pretty good too so hopefully will last a while.

My dog has taken to it straight away. It's super soft, well made and very light weight. Although I am yet to prise it from my dog to wash it, the test will be in how well it washes and dries. So far the pooch and I love it (I actually want one for myself it feels so cosy :) Would definitely recommend, its well worth the money
